Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Crisp Technologies LLC (“GoalSight,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit goalsight.app, join our waitlist, use the GoalSight iOS app, or use GoalSight hardware products (together, the “Services”).
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:
- Contact information — such as your email address when you join the waitlist or contact us.
- Order information — if you buy from the shop, your name, email, shipping address, phone if you provide one, the product configuration you chose, and the payment status Stripe reports to us. Card numbers are entered on Stripe’s checkout page. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
- Account and profile information — if you create an account in the app, such as your account identifier, email address, display name, and player names. Sign-in uses Firebase Authentication with Apple, Google, or email. Guest training is stored locally without requiring an authenticated GoalSight account.
- Session and training data — such as pitches, hits, zones, scores, streaks, game mode, and similar practice metrics generated while you use the app with GoalSight targets.
- Device and technical data — such as device type, OS version, app version, Bluetooth connection status with GoalSight hardware, crash logs, and diagnostic information.
- Website usage data — standard server logs and our own first-party visit records: pages and products viewed, items added to the cart, checkout starts, the referring site and campaign tags, country derived from IP, and device type. A random visitor identifier is kept in your browser’s local storage to group these visits. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on the website. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we do not record these visits.
- Website account and cart information — if you sign in on the website with the same Apple, Google, or email account you use in the app, we link your orders, cart, and visits to that account. If you leave items in the cart, we keep the cart contents and any email you entered so we can help you finish the order.
- Messages — what you send through the contact form and our replies, so we can follow up on your request.
GoalSight targets detect impacts and communicate with the app over Bluetooth. Impact sensing and session scoring are processed to provide the product experience. We do not need a camera for the pitching module.
Camera, microphone, and recorded names
Camera target and ball processing stays on your device. Microphone audio used for impact or snap detection is processed locally. Football speech cues use on-device speech recognition only; when that is unavailable, you can use clap detection instead. These detection streams are not uploaded by GoalSight.
You can separately record a player's name for spoken turn announcements. These short recordings and their player references are saved on the device. An active GoalSight Cloud subscription can back up player profiles, recordings, session history, achievements, and personal bests to your private iCloud database through Apple CloudKit. This requires both a GoalSight sign-in and an available iCloud account. Guest data is not uploaded unless you explicitly move it into a signed-in account.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services;
- Run training sessions, games, scores, and related features;
- Send waitlist, product, order, and support communications you request;
- Take shop orders, calculate shipping, and send tracking or refund notices;
- Understand which pages and campaigns bring visitors, and follow up on an unfinished checkout or a message you sent;
- Diagnose bugs, secure the Services, and prevent abuse;
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use children’s training data for advertising.
3. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us host, analyze, email, or support the Services, under obligations to protect the data;
- Apple and platform partners as needed to distribute the app or process purchases;
- Stripe to process shop payments and, when enabled, calculate sales tax. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to the payment page;
- Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security;
- A buyer or successor if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy’s protections.
4. Children’s privacy
GoalSight is designed for youth athletes and families. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising use by children. If you believe we collected personal information from a child under 13 (or the applicable age in your region) without proper consent, contact us and we will delete it where required.
Local player names, recordings, and results remain on your device unless you enable the account-based GoalSight Cloud features described above. Cloud backups use your private iCloud storage rather than a public player directory.
5. Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting, or security requirements. Waitlist emails are kept until you ask to be removed or we close the list. On-device session history may remain on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Uninstalling does not itself delete cloud backups. Website visit records are deleted after about 13 months.
You can remove a recorded name independently of its player profile; removal is synchronized when GoalSight Cloud next completes a sync. Account deletion in Settings requires reauthentication and access to the iCloud account used for backup. It removes the account's accessible CloudKit data and local account data before deleting the Firebase sign-in. If cleanup cannot finish, the app reports the failure and you can retry. Backups in a different iCloud account require access to that account; deletion on one device does not erase unsynchronized copies on other devices that remain offline.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use strong device passcodes and keep your software updated.
7. Your choices
- Request removal from the waitlist by emailing us.
- Turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser to stop website visit records, or clear this site’s storage to reset the visitor identifier.
- Delete the app to remove local app data from your device.
- Disable Bluetooth or disconnect targets when you do not want the app to receive impact events.
- Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold about you.
8. International users
We are based in the United States. If you use the Services from another country, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other locations where we or our providers operate.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
